Dog Teams

We have possibilities to arrange dog teams from short trips to several days. Most of the time we go from the Sámi camp and go to our beautiful lowland. We will pass a great number of fine mountain lakes and rivers, where You also can try out if you have good luck in fishing.
We will se old and also more recent Sámi settlements via "Sàpmi", the land of the Sámi people.
We travel in the sound of silence, the only thing you can hear is the crackle from the runners. This makes us to come close upon the wild animals in the area, firstly the reindeers, the elks, the bears, the lynxes, the wolverines and finally the rich birdlife, and then particularly the ptarmigan up at the plateau.
We put up for the night and eat in "lávvu"s (Sámi cot/tipi, look in Picture Gallery) or in wildlife cottages. At the return to the Sámi camp We heat up the timber sauna.
